What quality are items in your shop?
As a small shop, I can offer you quality goods with an attention to detail. I work hard to keep my overhead low so I can pass those savings on to you. That does not, however, mean your items will not hold up to the test of time. I use high quality "ingredients" including bleach resistant, high luster polyester thread from a local sewing shop, durable aprons and towels, and other quality items. I also use beads from local bead stores or bead stores I have found in my travels. I have a commitment to purchasing from small business, either local or on Etsy or other handmade or, small business websites whenever possible.
How do you price your items?
Each item's value depends on the cost of the supplies and the time it takes to put them together. For example, I offer two different prices on towel sets. While similar in color, the more expensive towel set is embroidered on a higher quality, higher loft towel. They will both hold up the same, but I like to offer a variety of options for a variety of budgets.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
On many items, this is possible. Please contact me privately through Etsy or email for quotes. I generally offer a discount at 5 identical items, and a larger discount at 10 identical items.
Do the actual glass ornaments come with the beaded covers?
The ornaments pictured will arrive to you beautifully wrapped. They will include a scroll hanger for use on the ornament of your choice. The bulbs are generally not included in an effort to save my customers money on shipping costs. If you would like a bulb included, I am happy to do so. Please know that the cost of shipping will about double as they will arrive in a box rather than padded envelope. There are a few specialized sizes that I have included the bulb, which raises the cost of shipping from $3.10 to $6.00.
Can you embroider other items not pictured?
The patterns in my shop can be recreated to make them personal to you. I will create whatever pattern you would like on whatever color towel, blanket, pillow case, placemat, tablecloth, or other flat item you would like. Please contact me, and I will get back with you with a quote and EXACT shipping costs within 1-3 business days. I can even add designs to jackets and zippered swirtshirts.
Do you ever offer supplies for sale (de-stash)?
I also quilt, so occasionally I will have "extras" that I offer at a good price. All items will be shipped the most economical way possible, again to save YOU money.
How do I pay for items? When can I expect shipment?
I accept PayPal or Direct Payment through Etsy only. This is the best way to ensure both buyer and seller protection. Once filled, orders can not be filled. Orders are generally filled within 4 business days. Custom orders requiring digitizing or ordering of additional supplies may take up to two weeks.
How do I request customization or personalization?
If you want an item not currently pictured OR in other colors, convo me through Etsy to discuss. I am very prompt (usually within 24 hours), and we can talk about it, including costs and timelines.
How do I personalize an embroidered item?
All of my on-line embroidered items (unless stated otherwise) come with personalization (name) free. Simply purchase the item and convo me with the name and color of thread you'd like embroidered on the item. If you want a .png file digitized, there is a $25 one-time fee for doing so. If you require a pattern we currently do not have in stock, there is also a one-time fee of between $3 and $15, depending on the pattern you select.
What about shipping?
The prices listed are the actual cost to ship the item to you. In some cases, the items can be shipped in padded mailers and in other cases items are shipped in boxes. I offer shipping through the United States Postal Service with tracking. If priority mail is the less expensive option, I will ship it that way. Otherwise, I use standard service. If you need the item rush delivered, please contact me PRIOR to purchase to determine the shipping cost and feasibility. Please keep in mind that the Christmas season (Thanksgiving to December 21) is very busy.
If your item ships in a box, please be aware that I recycle boxes rather than purchasing them. This helps keep costs down and is a "green" option. So, don't be alarmed if a box bearing another company's logo is delivered to your door. The real gift is inside.
